Feeding Our Elementary Kids

We were excited to collaborate with McKenzie Schmidt and Goodlettsville Elementary to provide meal packages for students in need.

Successful Fundraiser

Our fundraising efforts were a success. We raised $500 from our members and matched that with an additional $250 from our organization. This generous support has enabled us to make a significant difference. Our team handled the logistics—making a Costco run and shopping for the food, and a Girl Scout troop played an essential role by bagging these lunches.

Accomplishments

Thanks to the community's help, we have been able to make 200 lunches for the students. Each student received a meal including:

• 1 box of Mac n Cheese

• 2-3 snacks

• 1 applesauce pouch

• 1 kid-friendly flavor of oatmeal or small individual cereal box

At Women Supporting Women in Middle TN, we believe in the power of community and compassion. Let’s unite to show not only the children of Goodlettsville Elementary that they are supported and loved, but also everyone in our community feels secure.
