Join Us in Bringing Joy This Holiday Season: Donate to Christmas 4 Kids
The holiday season is a time of joy, giving, and spreading love to those around us. This year, we have an incredible opportunity to give back to our community and bring smiles to the faces of deserving children.
We are thrilled to announce that Women Supporting Women in Middle TN has a goal to be a bronze sponsor for Christmas 4 Kids. We will be matching what our dedicated members donate with the goal of $875 in membership donations and a $875 organization donation, allowing us to sponsor five wonderful children and provide them with a Christmas they will never forget.
The Spirit of Giving
Christmas 4 Kids is a heartwarming initiative that has been lighting up the holiday season for over 35 years. What began in 1982 as Christmas Caravan has grown into a cherished tradition, providing thousands of Middle Tennessee children with the joy and magic of Christmas. The program's efforts culminate in a festive two-day event where over 400 children are treated to a Christmas Party, a parade, and a shopping spree at Super Walmart in Hendersonville, all under the care of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
A Journey of Joy
The children, many of whom might not otherwise experience Christmas, are taken on a memorable adventure. They enjoy a party filled with laughter, live music, dancing, and delicious food. The day continues with a grand parade led by the Nashville Trolley and featuring more than 70 tour buses. The highlight of the event is when each child is paired with a chaperone and given $150 to shop for anything they desire. Additionally, Christmas 4 Kids ensures that each child receives a brand new winter coat, adding warmth to their holiday cheer.
